I originally started by asking a friend for a random combination to create an illustrated piece for practice. He came up with 'a killer monkey with a machete' so that's what I did. I had recently seen the movie 'Machete' and have always been a fan of Grindhouse posters so I put a bit of that style into it. After all he does look like he'd fit right into a Grindhouse movie!
With the second piece I decided to get my followers & likers of three29design involved and asked them to come up with a random combination, the best one gets made. Someone dreamt up 'an angry cat's ice cream disaster' so again, that's what I went with :) The person who came up with the idea will get an A3 print of the piece!
